Re: WWII picture quiz
Man that one was sneaky... kept thinking it was german and never occurred to me that it might have been italian until i looked up that cross on the tail...
anyways... maybe this will be more of a challenge than the last one I picked...

Re: WWII picture quiz
I cant seem to find one that looks exactly like it! Each of the soviet planes I find each have atleast thing that is different whether it be the tail or the wings

Re: WWII picture quiz
lol and lend-lease A20
funny story on that program (that I feel we never should have contributed too
)
they kept asking for B29s on every lend-lease request sent to us. each time a list was rejected they made the next even longer and more complicated in the hopes it would slip by and we would send them one. but they got their way in the end albiet not though the program but when a damaged 29' made an emergancy landing in russian territory, the knobs took the plane apart and copied each component to the T including damage from japanese interceptors that had engaged the B29 earlier lol..
needless to say these "extra ventilation / machine gun port holes" were eventualy phased out of later Tu4 models..
