Ok, so, I think it's pretty clear (judging by the end of this video) that he's at least working on DayZ past ArmA3's release date. He mentioned it being a standalone game, so what exactly does that mean?

He kept mentioning Minecraft as a pricing point. Minecraft goes for about $25-$30. That's not bad at all for a standalone game. I'm sure he'll be able to make it a much more deep game with the ArmA III engine as well.

I agree. The other thing I heard there was that he was just going to "throw things at the wall and see what sticks" as far as features go. Not a direct quote, obviously, but that's what I got at it. I dont mind that, either.

That could have been in reference to the idea of removing the starting pistol.
