I am going to setup the Pressure Cooker (Friday through Wednesday) as an Extreme Mod server with the following settings:
1. Three different rotations based upon the number of players (small 2-6, medium 6-18, large 18-25)
Server will change rotations automatically. Will get us more slots as needed
2. All weapons available to all players (Both Axis and allied weapons. Pick your favorite)
3. Rank system including rank ups to trip mines (bouncing betties), mortars, artillery, and airstrikes
Tripmines limited to 3 per team.
4. |ax| tag wearing players will start at rank 2. Other guests at rank 1 (Hopefully encourages players to tag up)
5. All players get 1 frag and 1 smoke grenade to start . Extra grenades at ranks 5,6,7.
6. Arcade scoring (makes us all feel like we are winners)
7. It will be called something else and Thursday Nights will go on as normal.
8. Admin will be able to start a game as bolts only when desired.
9. End of game statistics for leading players
10. Mounted MGs on but in burst mode
11. End of game map vote for |ax| players
12. |ax|Grasia gets Airstrike / Napalm at starting rank
While I know this setup wont appeal to everyone (our purists) it is designed to draw in the more modern players would need all the bells and whistles. Hopefully we can attract a new, larger group of players if we populate it.
If there is something you want to see or think will appeal to these types of players please add your comments. I need your input. We need a name also. Something appealing to the fast paced gamer.
I am looking for input on good custom maps. We will mix in all the stock maps where they fit. Some of the maps will work in multiple rotations.

Personally I liked the name Sh!tStorm. Kinda gives you an idea of what you're walking into.
What gametypes will be played on this? Sounds a lot like the early days of CoD1 with boog constantly raining artillery.

Personally i would love to see brecourt in the mix when theres a small crowd, the map is a great bolts only map.

Sh!tStorm is fine with me too. Might as well go for truth in advertising. Too bad we cant manage the vehicles of cod1.
As for gametypes its all about whatever draws players.
Its going to take me a bit to put this together. Managing 30+ customs, three different rotations and a completely different setup than we use on Thursday nights will get a little messy.
I'd like to get a copy of Oasis too someday. If we get it going and can then boot our slots up to say 32 I think Oasis would fit right in.

Depending on the gametype, Oasis could be great. Just seems to not be a CTF fav. I have it setup for SD, CTF, DM and TDM. TDM would be awesome with that setup. I can only imagine the "KOTH" that would happen on the middle tower, then add in any amount of arty...
Do you not have a copy of it?
Let me see if I can finish Einhorn and see if you like it. Could be a Small-Med map.

I liked the map overall but with small groups there were just too many buildings to hide in with our small groups. It was impressive that you spent the time and effort to model them all and make them all useable.
You know you could try something really radical and use the Chelm trick. mp_chelm uses a script that randomly loads some crates in strategic places to open or block off certain areas. The designer hides the objects under the map and the script moves them when the maps starts. You could hide doors in walls and close off a bunch of buildings. Same with windows as shooting positions if you really wanted to get fancy.
We also have some scripts that do random flags if you wanted multiple/ changing flag locations.
One other suggestion for this map might be to play it as domination (much like bf3 conquest)
Can wait to see Einhorn. We'd love to test it for you

I'm not sure if the latest version of Oasis was ever put on the server. I placed a bunch of new walls in between buildings and closed off many houses to create a more flowing version. Still big though.

Got the basics up and running.

All weapons available to all players (Both Axis and Allied weapons. Pick your favorite)
Primary, Secondary and Pistol as weapons. On death drop only primary
Rank system including rank ups to trip mines (bouncing betties), mortars, artillery, and airstrikes
Show rank as chevron only
|ax| tag players stat at Corporal (incentive to "join" |ax|)
Rank up and down increased/ decreases frag grenades, smoke grenades, ammo clips and landmines
WMD Deployment - Rank 4 Mortars ,Rank 5 Artillery, Rank 6 Airstrikes, Rank 7 Airstrikes with Napalm
Landmines limited to 3 per team.
All players get 1 frag and 1 smoke grenade to start . Extra grenades at ranks 5,6,7.
Arcade scoring (makes us all feel like we are winners)
End of game statistics for leading players (15 seconds
Mounted MGs on but in burst mode/ overheat quickly, cool down slowly
End of game map vote for |ax| players (15 seconds)
Health system is fast autoregen with healthbar
Readyup system on (20 seconds max. shorter if 2 players readyup)
|ax|Grasia starts at rank 4

Custom Welcome video
Sniper rifles to non dynamic.
