It is often an example in architecture and construction classes for steel-structures in buildings. Nearly all the concrete and bricks were blown away during the Warshaw uprising an only the steel structure was left, at lest for the upper floors. It was one of the highest skyscrapers at this time with a unique construction.

Gonna try to keep this topic going. Might be too easy, can anyone identify this? Let's try a few without the internet search engines. Who knows what this is? Defintiely in the realm of WWII.

Great job fellas! Stumbled upon this looking at the IS (Jossph Stalin Heavy Tanks) this week.
Built to combat the King Tiger but never produced. Thanks for the VId Mancini!
The T28 super heavy tank (also called 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95) was a prototype heavily armored self-propelled gun designed for the US Army during World War II. It was originally designed to be used to break through German defenses at the Siegfried Line, and was later considered as a possible participant in an invasion of the Japanese mainland. Sometimes referred to as a super-heavy tank, the T28 was re-designated as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in 1945 and then renamed a super heavy tank in 1946.

Really close. french, WWII and before, light tank.

The Hotchkiss Light Tank weighed in at 11 tons.
This tank, very close in size, weighed 6.5 tons.

This tank was powered by a 4cyl gasoline motor.

Look, another SBD. Very different and NOT nearly as unique as the other. Without pulling teeth here, what is the significance of the aircraft in the above picture?
