Pressure Cooker - Thursday Nights

Thanks to everyone who turned out to play tonight. General Boum, Girlie, Grasia, Poison, Stingray, B_Rus, CT, Undertow, SpawnAlot, Chicago, Medival, Jason Bourne, Abe and I'm sure a few others I missed.

At one point we had about 14 players. A new record for the Pressure Cooker.

You guys were a big help in showing what all needs to be tweaked and turned off with the Extreme Mod.

I already disabled colored smoke, many of the annoying game announcements, and buffed the shotguns for Stingray

Admittedly it wasnt ready for that many people.

If you have suggestions please post them here. I need the feedback to make the rotation and the game modes playable for us all.

Next week I'll be more prepared.

I'm thinking next week I'll have a planned first hour rotation with a mix of S&D, CTF and such.

I hope at least it was fun...

Howdy all...

Last week we had a really nice sized group around 10pm eastern...15 players..including Grasia.

So this week I have a plan. (Any plan is better than no plan at all right?)

For the first hour or so we will play a mix of S&D and CTF (rifles only)...finishing with a round of CTF on Toybox2 (shotguns only)

Then a brief intermission before loading up PressureCooker for as long as people want to play.

Hope to see you there. 10 PM eastern. We can start earlier if there is interest..

A new WAWA map...the standard one with the big crates...

A map called GermanFarm.....and another called Kasserine...

Also two new maps for PressureCooker Mode..

Extreme mod starts around 9:30 and Pressure Cooker starts around 10:30 Eastern. Sooner if people are itchin to go.

Thats the plan.....we were just testing afew things last night...trying to get a feel for what the best setup will be...including more players of course..

I got a headache from being bashed by Spawn too many times in CTF, so i had to quit.

Tonight we will be playing like usual but with a noted exception. I need you guys to help me test the maps for the Saving Private Ryan event. If possible I'd like to get a group of at least 5 per team on each map for a few minutes so that we can make sure the settings look right.

I'll be on around 9 eastern time.

Thanks too all who showed up last night to Play Pressure Cooker.

I think we got everything dialed in on the server for Sunday Nights Saving Private Ryan event.

I was great to see some of these maps and game modes with 6 per team. Can't wait to see them with 12 men per side. Hopefully we get that epic feel.

As for the PressureCooker....we will be turning the server into a mixed mode server running Search & Destroy, CTF, Headquarters and Hold the Flag. We will be limiting the weapons (mostly rifles and bolts). We will also be throwing in some fun things like toybox, Pirates Bay etc.

As always we'll continue to play Pressure Cooker mode on Thursday nights...and tournaments as often as we can arrange them.
