there's a group of individuals who like to see a return to the old days... the days of uo... the days of anarchic!bas.

this post is an initial gauge of interest to those who are seriously interested in venturing down that road. that road will not be easy, that road will be long and take dedication... it is a road that i cannot travel myself, or even with a handful of people, but that road is possible to travel.

the slumbering beast that is our modding god has completely reworked the mod for cod2... to rave reviews and clamoring applause. i have it on good authority that if uo can be revived, the beast may very well be reawakened. simply put... if we play it, he will come.

come one, come all who may be interested. throw your hat into the ring.

I don't care how old UO is, there's no other game like it. There's maybe 4 populated BAS servers, which can run full for hours. If the axmod is in the top 3, pulling traffic from one server shouldn't be hard.

i should also add that there are some who have faded away through the several transitions that would be happy to play again, if only we can find them

I still have UO loaded. I have been playing on the historians server for lack of WAW base. I would love to play the AX maps again but I cant say I will be there everynight like the old days. Borderlands and black opps has taken over my fps fix for now. but you can count me in from time to time

i had to install my games when i reinstalled cod one and uo they where like that, reinstalled them 3 time same thing looked at my cds they where all scrached up soo i think it was that anyways they are only $5.50 for cod1 and 7. something for uo

Zraupp, disable that fps overlay..it's possible that it's conflicting with some opengl screen refresh routine. UO=last of the opengl based cod games.

I seem to be missing the file ax/c.pk3

When the map changes, the download screen comes on but freezes there trying to dl this file. I have to leave the game and come back in after new map is on.

do you have some kind of firewall application that may block UO from trying to download files?
