So if i get the elite variety and dont plan on using live

Postby Odin » Fri Oct 30, 2009 6:58 pm

How many games could i put on the hard drive? whats the average size of a game/save?

Oh and do they patch games on live? would I really need the extra game stuff just for 1 or 2 players?
I'm having trouble sifting through all the crap on the internet.

The saves end up like being a couple of megs. So you would need to play a shitload of games to fill t up only with that. Demos range between 500Gbs-1.5Gbs. Most games get patched eventually even single player games.

I heard if you say his name five times in the mirror he drives a jeep into your house and plants bombs in your basement.

My thoughts exactly. The major selling point to the 360 is Live. If you don't want to play online, you might as well just get a PS3 for the Bluray. It makes no sense to not use Live if you're getting a 360.

Okay those are all good points, maybe I should go Live. Now what exactly is the deal with the Live points? I'm tired of dealing with poor results from shitty fan sites and random forums for trying to get a detailed explanation of what you can/can't/don't need points for. And surprisingly...or not, the official site hasn't been much better.

I have decided I don't want a PS3,nothing really interests me there game wise. Don't really care about blu-ray.

You buy live points, and with those you buy games and downloads and stuff like that. Think of them like Chucky Cheese tokens. Only there's more screaming kids on Live.

Patches automatically update, no points needed. Maps are usually considered something you pay for.

sad thing is that it's true :disturbed:
