EA to operate all servers

Postby Till Lindemann » Thu Oct 13, 2016 6:43 am

We'll have to buy from them

The ability to even get one to begin with may not be there at launch. Along with customization options "on a slow roll out". While this is somewhat of a good thing, being one common interface for all, EA/dice fucks everything up new release wise until well into spring where bf is concerned.

The announcement also indicates that certain game modes may not be available on rental servers at launch. "We might restrict number of game modes available at launch and gradually enable them based on feedback and other circumstances, but you can expect that we’ll keep adding customization options and UI design throughout 2016."

Yes, when they do finally release the ability to get servers you won't be able to do anything with them but set map rotations and player count, as far as that is stating

See how long it all lasts. People abusing enemy headmarkers already, hacks found and horses can take more damage than tanks. "Normal" is bad enough but I completely forgot about enemy headmarkers. Guess it's a race between their rollout "based on feedback" and my patience with playing settings geared to ensure "the widest enjoyable experience"
