No idea. But I've got 4 years into my channel and I finally don't get rap on it. I really don't want to start over. Also, it doesn't look like you can build channels with it. So personalization might be out the window. It requires a facebook account too (insert rant).

My ping results:
Chicago: 31 MS
NYC - 19 MS
Dallas - 50 MS
Atlanta - 27
Keep in mind that this is via a standard "Ping" command, so it is always best to add like 15 - 20 ms to simulate "In game" experience.

Re: Proposed Server Changes for AX
from what our previous results have identified, a geo location of no further west than the central time zone and about mid laditude provides the best connection for the majority of the user base

In mirfs case we need to get the server as far away from him as possible. He is way too deadly.

I say we host somewhere near Buddha, that way we'll have to all play with the ping he's been playing with for years.

Wrong!!
Farming Simulator 2013 Announced: Let's Get Ready To Raise Crops!
Farming Simulator 2013 is coming. The game is set to release in Europe this October for PC, with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions hitting shelves in the first quarter of 2013. So get your silos and seed-bags ready, people.
There will be dozens of new features in Farming Simulator 2013. New equipment. New crops (come on, soybeans!), new animals and new environments.
"Steve, will there be tractors?" I can hear you asking. Oh, hell yes, there will be tractors. We're talking 20 of the most respected manufacturers of heavy agricultural machinery represented here with all kinds of threshing, harvesting and planting equipment.
"But will there be red tractors?" I hear you ask. Just look at that picture above, man. FS '13 is no half-assed farm simulator with only safety yellow tractors, son. This is the real thing.

Re: Proposed Server Changes for AX
Lol. I'm so getting that.
On another note. Have any of u guys seen the Warz website?
It looks cool so far. And from what I've read they are saying they want to have private run servers in addition to thier servers. Where the private servers would have the clans home base then they can leave the base and go into the world. Looks cool.
Also new arma 3 video out from gamwcon. Looks even more amazing!

Re: Proposed Server Changes for AX
Just a quick update to tell you whats going on this the changes for Anarchic.
Basically we are stuck because Geoff is giving us NO help with the old server.
We are handcuffed concerning the forums, website, domain name and server backups.
I'm not sure how this will get resolved at this point.
I had hoped to send out a mass emailing with the changes and update heading into the fall but dont see a point in doing that until all of the transition is done.
Will keep you updated.

Re: Proposed Server Changes for AX
Its just eceedingly difficult to understand Geoffs lack of action here.
He built this place and helped bring these people together.....
He either doesnt care enough to help us move this place forward or hes blocking the changes by choosing to do nothing.
I dont understand that type of thinking....
