I heard if you say his name five times in the mirror he drives a jeep into your house and plants bombs in your basement.

Not officially documented, no. I should start writing down how much work I do from here on out. If I had to ballpark it at this point in time, I'd say I've put in around 10-12 hours.

^ I know, and I'm sorry that I haven't been able to provide more screenshots at this point in time. The progress really stalled a couple months or so ago and I've had some other projects taking up my time since then. I start fall semester classes in just 2 weeks now and they sure won't be allowing me any more free time to help finish things up.

Unfortunately, I'm at a crossroads with this map right now. I am currently having a debate with myself whether I should devote the massive amount of time needed to complete it or if I should just scrap it and make a 1v1 or 2v2 map instead, if I make a new map for CoH at all. It's just SO damn big and there is SO much left to do on it that I'm worried that I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I've easily put about 15hrs of work into the map at this point and it is only at about 20% completion. Granted, many of those first hours were spent getting the canals and the edging on the docks to look JUST right, but even when I finish putting stuff on the docks, the city itself will be a whole other mission to undertake. Plus, I don't know if putting more time into mapping for a 6-year-old game is worth it to me personally. By the time I would be even somewhat close to finishing this map, CoH2 might be out already. If that's the case, this project would definitely be put on the shelf permanently because I'd be dedicating my time to mapping and doing replay casts for the new game instead.

I'm not throwing in the towel just yet, but things are not looking good for Dunkirk Dynamo at this point in time.

What I did to help get my map along, was to put atleast 30 mins in every day for a month. Each time just try to have fun and mess around and accomplish something and make it look how I want it. Maybe you could try just doing that if you can find enough spare time.

Sorry to disappoint, but this map is pretty much permanently shelved.

:nono:

If CoH2 will offer the ability to play CoH maps, you may see this project revived. However, CoH2 will be Russians vs. Germans, so Dunkirk wouldn't be historically accurate.

and to that I say... WHO CARES!?!!?!???!

We want the custom content, sir. Not only that, but BECAUSE it won't be historically accurate, you may just create a popular map due to a different gameplay experience.

Do what you do, technoweenie! :2thumbsup: :D
