Re: WWII picture quiz
Judging from the elevation ability of the dual 40mm barrels, I'd wager it's some sort of mobile AA gun.
Then again, I can just cheat and see what the name of the image file is...
Ah yes! That would be an M42 Duster.
At least I was right about the gun caliber.
When you post images for the quiz game, try to not name the file the same as the object in the photo.

Re: WWII picture quiz
Well, since I "guessed" the M42 correctly, I'll go next.
What is this behemoth?

Re: WWII picture quiz
T35 assault tank, funny stuff is that its cited as having participated in the winter war. the T35 itself never did though
was actualy the SMK prototype but the Fins and Germans mistakenly labled it the T35C not knowing what it was.

Re: WWII picture quiz
Pretty interesting tank. The think was gunned for bear, (the prototype) one 76.2mm and four 37 mm cannons (and mgs too). Seems though it was a mechanic nightmare. 61 total built. From my readings 90% were lost "not too enemy action".
Found a wikipedia link to it (i'm no expert).

Re: WWII picture quiz
In my book, Weapons of World War II, it states that only about 60 T-35s were built. It had five turrets with three cannons, six MGs, weighed 55 tons and had a crew of 11 men. Its failures are listed as: too many weapons/men for the one commander to manage, too little armor (only 0.4 to 1.2in) and too slow (only 19mph on the road, 8mph over rough terrain.)
It fought in the Winter War in '39 - '40 and against Germany in '41. Most failed to reach the front lines due to mechanical failure or being destroyed quickly because of the huge target they presented to the enemy. It was 32ft long and 11ft high.

Perfect!Well, I know it's not a Bren Carrier (different suspension system). Give me a bit. I'll get it.

EDIT: It's a Carden Loyd Tankette!
