And they're releasing DLC soon for it, which bodes well for how much stuff they plan. May have to break down and get it, everyone I know loves it.
Does the game co-op make it a lot better? Or is it just as good alone, do you think?

co-op is pretty awesome... i only played split screen so far so the view sucked i can only imagine how sick it is on two screens... not as in depth as fallout but pretty close and the combat is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better....
think COD gameply meets Fallout environment with a twist of cell shading... it's pretty fucking awesome.
oh and, vehicles. well, at least vehicle, thus far... reminiscent of mass effect, but more fun to drive
