Pressure Cooker - Thursday Nights

A small group of us (3-5) have been playing, almost every night, on the Pressure Cooker server. We have a great time but we'd like to get at least 8 -10 people for a few rounds each night.

We take turns picking maps...we pick specific weapons (usually bolts) and we random assign to keep things fresh.

If you like strategy, team play, and a few laughs then come join us from 9-11 Eastern Time

We are also on team speak in the COD2 channel.

If someone said you were annoying that was playing on P.C., it had to be meant as a compliment. You are part of the gang. You were always one of the ones we were looking forward too getting in there. You made the game better.
I, we, loved having you on our team. We also loved playing against you. Your mad skills helped make us all better. Damn dude, we were up to 12 players the other night, and you are a big part of the reason why. Can't tell you how many times when we saw you logging in and someone would say " cool, Boum's here ".

We've been playing together for more than a while now, my friend. Please PM me and let me know what's up. When I got on the CTF server tonight, you were all that people were talking about. It's got a lot of us upset.

Is there a way we can set it up for some S&D?? Some S&D play will improve your skill level since it takes alot of team communication, coordinated attack and defense, patience and key shots to win a match... just a suggestion!!!

We had t locked so people coudnt change the game mode during the 3 vs 3 thing....I'll open it up so we can play any of the game modes.

I'm also going to find a couple of wawa maps for us.

As for Boum...I'm at a loss too. The only time your annoying is when your owning me....with that dang rifle.

Bute when I get to be on your team we rock....so whats up? We all want to know...

Thanks for the kind words ....Really apreciated..I was really mad Saturday and did not wan't to write stupid things online. I probably overreacted..And i should not of wrote this in the forum. But it did happen and i explain myself to Rhino. I had a great time Saturday night before that.

I have made some big changes to the Pressure Cooker server and a group of us (Spawn, Chicago, B_Rus and I) are trying to find a weeknight to play Pressure Cooker CTF and Search & Destroy. Rifles only!! I'm thinking Thursday Nights.

Going Retro: I have also loaded a variety of custom maps including 3 retro Medal of Honor Allied Assault Maps
Destroyed Village, Verschneit, and Crossroads (The Bridge)

Other Customs:
BigRed, North Africa Outpost, Woods, Crossfire Assault, Marais (Day and Night) Simmerath, Chelm, Newvillers

And the best of the standard maps:

Matamata, Toujane, Carentan

I'm also going to add a few specialty maps:
WAWA (Bolts only), Toybox (shotguns only)

If you can make it thursday night that would be great. We'd like to get a regular group of us playing each week.

Nice Rhino....

Thursday's are fine with me...I don't start work until 11am on Fridays so, well, it's perfect... Playing last night...just 2 on 2 was a lot of fun, it'll be really cool to have like 10 guys in there shooting it out. I also have been recording AVI demo's which I will be editing of myself and my team's play...Eventually I will have a nice file...Rhino can put on his website or in the forums to show everyone what the Pressure Cooker is all about!

Can't wait to see it?

Just a quick reminder that a group of us will be playing CTF-Pressure Cooker and Search & Destroy tonight on the Pressure Cooker Server.

Speaking of that we have moved it to a new server and made it public..no more passwords. Yahoo!!

I am having a hard time getting it to show up consistently on the master server list but you can add a new favorite with the following info or enter the ip in the console.

We have a whole new rotation of maps to try out. Come join us tonight at around 10PM eastern. We usually meet on the AX CTF server.

Made some pretty big additions to the PressureCooker this week including:

A half dozen new maps.
Two snipers only maps (with random artillery and the ability to call in artillery strikes just to make sniping even harder)
Three WAWA / arena maps - bolts only for 1 vs 1 fun.
Bolts only on the majority of maps. Bolts & Semis on most others.
Shotguns only on Decoy & Toybox (yeah its silly but its also fun for blowing off some steam)
Map Vote at the end of each map
Readyup system that waits for players to join
Turned off almost most all of the overhead/ junk in the mod...(tripwires, sounds, rank system, flamethrowers etc)

The rotation now plays Individual Hold the Flag, Capture the Flag - bolts only, and Team Death Match on the specialty maps (snipers maps and arena/wawa maps)

Of course on Thursday night , tonight, we will be playing the Pressure Cooker game mode. Come check out the new stuff and bring a friend. Can't wait to kill you all tonight. See you around 10 pm eastern.
