a little info on this.. apparently its a known issue in CoD2

this article is 4 months old, though. i wonder why nothing has changed?

How much does EvenBalance get paid?

this is evenbalance's final response to the ticket that i opened for this issue:

I'm sorry, but by definition, this is a client issue. The client is not sending all the packets to the server. The server doesn't receive them all, and kicks the player for Losing key packets.

If this were a server issue, it would be much more frequent. Have players that are continuously receiving this kick to contact us.


this is after showing them everything that i have shown you guys in regards to the before and after statistics.

if you're seeing this issue, i extremely urge you to open a ticket with evenbalance and have them reference ticket #EB5409000339740 (support rep name was Glenn Courington).

Update punkbuster manually or try clearing your mod folder and reconnect to server sometimes after reloading the maps i have found these issues go away!
