Hey Ct lets do it this way.

I'll put a registration for on the axtournaments.com website and we can add to polls/ votes. On for the stock map and one for the custom.

Got a list of acceptable customs?

Then we can put links here so people that register can vote too.

What a soap opera....some people are just "difficult".

The scrimmage is cancelled..sad to say.

In short they have accused us of being cheats because several of us use different config files including the danzig config.

After arranging the scrim, I attempted to join their scrim server to see how the new mod runs. The game completely shut down twice on me so I reported via their forums.

What followed was a request for my player config which I told him was based on danzig config. I offered to send him the danzig config but he wanted my personal config file..wasnt at my gaming rig so I sent him the danzig file anyways.

After a number of emails filled with accusations and paranoid conspiracy theories on their part any interest in playing them was lost.

In short they feel we cheated last time since some players have modified configs and all of their players configs are as pure as the wind driven snow.

Basically its an excuse for loosing last time (my opinion) and a reason not to play again. They feel any alteration of the default config is cheating. Further more we conspired to keep it from them. (cue the X Files theme song)

Rubbish.....Rediculous...

Anyways we are better served looking for someone else to play. Sorry guys I tried. Who knew arranging a scrimmage would be so tough.

You should see the emails. You would think AX was the COD2 mafia

:nono2: :2thumbsdown: :nono2:

Don't be sorry Rhino, not your fault

I felt like there were reservations for some reason. I can't believe this is his/their rational...If one google's "how to play COD2 better" the first 5 results will at some point re-direct you to "pro" config files...alas "pro" players....are they all cheats?? :bs:

I feel sorry for their players...I do...Obviously someone in their fascist clan is setting limitations on their game play. Think about how much better someone could be learning to tweak their "settings" not "cheats" ....

It's only a cheat if it puts an unfair advantage on your opponents. These "setting" changes are available for everyone...not only |ax| members

Anywhooo....Buncha clowns eh?

Well Rhino's right...we should be looking to scrim someone better...haha...I have noticed scrim's picking up in some late night servers I play in. Most people seem to like playing S&D...Just thinking...We should really start practicing more of it (S&D) just to be more versatile against upcoming opponents...

Thanks for trying guys....

Agreed...for as much as I felt like Chicagos graphic above..I hope we always stay classy and respectful as a community even in the face of this kind of thing.

Believe me I wrote and rewrote emails to the AIF guy because I had to rephrase what I wanted to say vs what I should say....

There are some people in the world who just arent worth your time and effort....this was one of them.

Sorry Guys,

Your're right.....

Didn't mean to upset anyone, just wanted people to laugh at this....b/c it is laughable.

But, no need to drop to their level....

Sorry

Not bad mouthing but that's a sad excuse for not wanting to scrim. I mean, do they think everyone that comes to their server from our clan cheats, or has that config? That's just a stupid excuse...

I go over their some nights when the ctf server is empty and i always get comments from them for always being on the top of the scoreboard but i never thought they would actually accuse anyone cheating...

I haven't messed with any configs, or any set up stuff ever. I use all the standard stuff the game is installed with ever since i bought it. Standard config file and everything else...

I wonder what they'd say if i went over there now and tore it up like i usually do...
I get bored easy.....
