Console/HLSW connect procedure

Since I most often get asked how to connect through the console for the matches here it is

open your game

hit the ~ key

type in
/password whateverthepassis
hit enter

type in
/connect whateveripis
hit enter

and there you go



To connect through hlsw you must first download it here

you will get this box when opened



copy the ip you get from the pm and paste it in the ip line. the server will automatically open up below

take the password from pm and put it in the password box

put your name in the name box

when satisfied hit the little blue boxed arrow just below the green ip/port letters

this should work EVERY time. its not that hard

also, the new versions will ask for login when you first open it. ignore this and just click "Offline"
