we had to drop that server, couldn't afford it
bas will be coming back soon on a different IP (will replace gfm)

OMG! BAS is gone...
It feels like my best friend was hit by a bus and smeared across the pavement until his guts were spread across three states...
This really sucks!
I hate that BAS died.
I'm gonna go drink now... maybe beat my children... or step on a fluffy yellow chick.

What was the reason? Service costs went up? Lack of PSOs? A little of both?

lack of PSO's. we were waiting to see if getting a stable linux WaW server (in the sense of application stability) was even a possibility... but the wait has been too long.
we plan to upgrade the server that hosts the website and cod2 ctf server to a new plan for the same monthly cost which will give us some more breathing room on resources.
