I just installed COD UO and went into one of the ax servers. When it loaded, the graphics outside the window where bright colored little squares like pixels. the floor and wall and gun were normal.

PS I have d/l the update and clicked on allow downloading in options.

Don't use window mode, run it in fullscreen mode. Your graphic settings are chnged when you run UO and your desktop hs much more brightness. I always get it when UO crashes. Then I need to restart UO and close it to fix the problem.

i had that problem when i updated my video drivers. roll back or update to the most rescent.
